Oscar C. – Instructor – Guitar, Bass, Piano/Keys, Drums, Early Childhood Program & B2R Rock Band

Oscar studied popular music and music business at Catawba College, where he graduated in 2017.  He’s played guitar for 13 years and bass for the past few, adding the latter to his teaching tool kit out of a newly discovered passion for the instrument.  Oscar loves to play jazz, funk, and indie rock.  His biggest influences are The Strokes, Rage Against the Machine, Snarky Puppy, Steely Dan, Mac DeMarco, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Talking Heads.  He also enjoys showing students that music theory is nothing to fear.  “Come jam with me,” says Oscar, “and have a jolly good time learning!”

Rob B.

Rob B. – Instructor – Drums, Percussion, Early Childhood Program, & B2R Rock Band

Rob has always had a passion for percussion and for developing those often much younger than he.  After attending Claflin University for music education, Rob taught at Doo Dah Drum School in Columbia, SC.  Shortly after, he moved to New York City to teach percussion at Mott Haven Academy.  He taught private lessons – music theory and application – in both cities for all ages before joining B2R Huntersville.  Rob says he loves to teach because of the “enriching principles and disciplines one can learn through music."  He also enjoys relating to music students of any age, genre, or experience.

Shavoree B.

Shavoree B. – Instructor – Piano/Keys, Bass, Guitar, Ukulele, Voice, Drums, Early Childhood Program, Recording Arts, Music Production, Auxiliary and Chromatic Percussion & B2R Rock Band
